Bixby Knolls Weekend – What’s Happening for New Year’s 2009

Can you believe it? Only 4 days until 2010.

Where did 2009 go?

Well, at least we can ring the new year in right with some great Bixby Knolls New Year’s Eve parties.

Here’s a short list of Bixby Knolls spots to check out.

Thursday, December 31st:

The Queen Mary: The Queen Mary is hosting five musically themed parties — big band, Latin Salsa, swing, jazz and DJs. At midnight, guests will have the best view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Tickets cost $89 per person. For details call 877-847-1894 or visit www.queenmary.com.

Ristorante Da Vinci: 2801 E Spring St., Long Beach. New Years Eve Celebration starting at 5:30pm. Dinners range from: $20.00-$75.00. The Petroleum Club: 3636 Linden Avenue, Long Beach. Enjoy snacks, drinks and dancing at this Bixby Knolls party. Live music is provided by the MP Triple J Band. Admission is $20 at the door. The party is also a fundraiser for the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association to help pay for the Big Red Bus at the First Fridays art walk events. Hotel Maya: 1950’s Havana style celebration with a special Cuban-themed dinner ($55-75) and Havana Nights Fiesta ($60-80) featuring the band Venus Infers and DJ Goldfinger.
